Hey! I’m Mica—short for Micael—I’m a creative art director based in Amsterdam. For the past decade, I’ve been blending systematic creative thinking with visual storytelling to help brands stand out (and not look lame). Currently, I’m a Senior Art Director at Polaroid. I am both a hands-on graphic designer and visual advisor, helping guide the creative direction across multiple projects, and in a world driven by AI, I’m proud to be spending my working hours bringing instant photography back to life.

Before embracing the analogue side of things, I worked with brands like Coca-Cola, Facebook, Netflix, Adidas, P&G, and Mondelez. Along the way, my work has picked up recognition at awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD, LIA, One Show and the Clios. For me, craft is everything. It’s about getting lost in the details and uncovering those small visual touches that pull an idea together and make it iconic.
